Retro Fathers Day

I saw this stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and knew immediately what I wanted to do with it.
My father-in-law owned a drive-in restaurant.  My husband made milk shakes at the restaurant.
Perfect!  Inspired by a post from Nina Marie and Lesson #3 at Altenew by Nicole Magouirk.
Background is white heat embossed with the retro stars from the set.  It’s then blended with Distress inks.  The signs are painted with Wink of Stella then glossy accents.
I went to the internet to get ideas for retro colors.  A photo of an old motel sign was my inspiration.
