Whale Hello

The Online Spring Card Camp has been a wonderful distraction.  Each morning I have a card-making video from a designer I love waiting in my Inbox.
This morning it was Yana Smakula teaching a technique she called Cut Background.
It begins with a background stamp that has lines that can be fussy cut.
This background stamp from Hero Arts seemed perfect.
I grabbed different colors of scraps from my stash and stamped that same background on each one.
Then I cut portions of them to create this collage of ocean waves.

The whale are sentiment are from Paper Smooches.

This card is for my grandchildren.  In a effort to help my daughter provide some craft projects during this period of shutdown, I sent all of my scraps, extra whales, sentiments. google eyes, card bases and envelopes.  The little one can just color in the waves.  The older one can cut and paste them.
