Inspiration Challenge June 2024 – Pam's Paper Addiction

Each month, a member of the Altenew Design Team selects a photo they have created themselves and uses that as inspiration for a project. This month Charlene Madrid snapped a photo of these brilliant flowers as she was walking her dog.

I combined an old set (Bitterroot Flower Stencils) with something very new (Modern Leaves Background Press Plate).

Charlene’s colors are bright and beautiful. Bitterroot Flower Stencils gave me the shape and size of flower I needed. The background is my brand new Modern Leaf Background Press Plate with Altenew’s Kelly Green Hot Foil. That matches up pretty well with the leaves from Itty Bitty Branches ink blended in Minty Mint and Just Green. I gave a little hair cut to Thank You for Being My Fried Die Set for the sentiment.

A little glimmer was achieved with the hot foil and iridescent spray on the centers of the flowers.
