Grateful Blooms Instagram Reel Hop
October 18, 2024
Educators were assigned to let our gratitude bloom through your creations using floral, botanical or nature-inspired elements. I immediately thought of pumpkins!
Go to the Altenew Instagram reel hop for my post along with 18 other educators. There are prizes!!!!
I used the One Go Pumpkin Stamp (Cozy Comfort Retreat 2024) for my project. It gave me multiple opportunities to color pumpkins with different color combinations. I went traditional with the yellow, orange and some green Altenew Alcohol Markers. I them colored in the background again using alcohol markers.
This release has been BY FAR MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE!. And the Cozy Comfort Retreat just added more happy to my life. Why? Because I LOVE pumpkins. I collect them and I color them, I carve them and I eat them in most any form.
I have pumpkins in my ofrenda. It is an altar for dia de los muertos celebrating those who have passed.
A work in progress. You can see the reel on Instagram Altenew Grateful Blooms Reel Hop.
Thanks for stopping by. I teach virtually every second Wednesday 6:00 PM EST. I also teach once a month on Bridget Casey’s Free Saturday Workshop. Watch for the announcements in the Altenew Newsletter or follow my blog for information on upcoming classes.
Hi Pam,
I adore all of the Pumpkin themed cards especially the Altenew Cozy Retreat, which I now regret not attending, but am too many retreats behind right now lol. Also love the TH pumpkins you have here with the Lindy’s Magicals! Very well done.
Thank you, Melissa. I understand about being behind on retreats. I’m still doing some catching up myself. This was a good one.
Pam I love everyone of these cards and I will get to the hop today! I love that you have a pumpkin ofrenda! Are you going to paint your face for El Día de los Muertos?
How fun would it be to have a class where we made decorated faces–but without the face…maybe a die cut or something. Sounds like a Pam project! 💜
Your ideas always get my ideas flowing. With all of the Altenew flowers we could definitely decorate some faces . . . or even some pumpkins.
