Bridget Casey’s Free Saturday Workshop March 15 ?

The designers really created some amazing cards for the Shimmer Relief Paste release. We will be looking at cards by Jaycee and Therese. Jaycee uses the Soaring Doves and supplies from the Secret Garden 2024 Retreat for one card. The Floral stamp and die from CYL Flourishing Garden are used for his other two cards.

Therese uses Garden Whispers and Pattern N Petals Stencils for her card.

We will apply several different Shimmer Relief technique in one card.

The following are the supplies I used for this card. We encourage you to use whatever supplies you have for this technique. Most CYL kits can be used.

CYL Translucent Foliage

Shimmer Relief Paste (I used Burnished Platinum)

Spatula

Metallic Watercolors for Splatter and paint Brush

Sugar Plum and Blushberry Bliss, Aqua Island Ink Pads

Blending Brushes

Stampwheel

Silver Embossing Powder

Scrap white cardstock for Sentiment

April 9 our cards will have beautiful Spring Wreaths with flowers and butterflies. I will use the big, beautiful Flutter and Bloom set but any set with flowers and butterflies will work.

Watch for the announcement of my May 14th Workshop. We will be again be using Shimmer Relief Paste but for Masculine cards. No flowers, no pink. Think Adventure, Mountains, Geometric and metallic.
