September 27th Bridget Casey’s Free Saturday Workshop
Hi everyone! I’m back from the mountains and trying to adjust to 97 degrees here in Tucson today.
I have missed my second Wednesday and Saturday gals (and Walter). Teaching inspires me to play with my Altenew toys old and new. Fall is my favorite crafting season. So I’m excited for the months ahead and what we can create together.
Several people have requested Sweet Garden Bird for a class. Tadah! Here it is! I have assembled the little bird for Fall and for the Holidays. Choose whatever colors you want.
The Fall version is made with Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock in Buttercream, Warm Sunshine Carmel Toffee and Paperbag. Also Golden Sunrise Glitter Cardstock in Sunstone, Bronze and Amber.

The holiday version was inspired by a post Bibi Cameron made when Sweet Garden Bird was first released. Most pieces were cut from white 110# cardstock and blended with Olive, Grapevine and Sand Dunes. A few were die cut from Gilded Glitter cardstock in Brushed Gold.

I’ll throw out a few ideas for backgrounds just to get our wheels turning. I’m counting on suggestions to create backgrounds in class.
Berry Branch Layering Die Set
Berried Cotoneaster 3D Embossing Folder
Lush Berry Branch 3d Embossing Folder
Leafy Splendor Embossing Folder
Leaf Bed Stencil
Modern Leaf Background Press Plate

Here I used the new woodland Path Embossing Folder with ombre ink blending.

Work in progress. Any suggestions?
We start at 1:00 ET on Saturday. I look forward to hearing your ideas and seeing your cards.
