AECP Clean and Simple

I’m not going to lie.  This clean and simple card hurt my brain a little.

When I purchased Altenew’s Prettiest Pomander I planned that it would be in orange and blue for my friend’s wedding shower.  Numerous attempts with Copics and water color ended up in the trash can.

Then I saw a video by Jen Raza where she used foil and sticky embossing powder.
I experimented a lot with which layer should be foiled and which layer should be inked.

I put the outline image on my Misti and stamped the outline image in light orange.  (Using the idea of no-line, that orange image would be my guide for the blue and VersaMark stamping but would not show in the final product.)  I saved the stamp in my Misti to use again for the VersaMark.

On a second Misti I lined up the layer that was to be blue.  It stamped perfectly.

I went back to the first Misti and stamped the outline image in VersaMark then heated Ranger Sticky Embossing powder just to the melting point.

I put the foil over the image and ran it through my Mink.  Sparkle and Shine all in line!!

There was just a little masking involved at the top of the vase.

Once I had it all planned out and using two Misti’s I got the exact effect I was hoping for.  It would now be easy to duplicate this card.
