Altenew AECP Lesson One
The color inspiration I needed for my Build-a-Flower Hibiscus came from a post by Erum Tasneem. These aren’t the “hot” pink, purple and orange we usually see. I like that they are a little more subtle and varied.
The purple flower is from the Purple family with the addition of Saphire and Black.
The Pink Flower is from the Cherry Blossom Family with the addition of Grape Vine and Black.
Finally the more orange flower is from the Cherry Blossom Family with the addition of yellow.
The leaf in the background is created with fourth generation stamping. That same Evergreen color is in the three leaves.
The stamen is gold heat-embossed. Gold is repeated in the die cut sentiment.
This is a gorgeous set that has so much depth. It makes me want to pack my bags for Hawaii.
