Altenew Golden Garden

I have been like a little kid waiting for this Altenew stamp set to arrive in my mailbox.  Today was the day!  And this is my first card using Golden Garden.  I initially intended to stamp it with layers
of Altenew inks.  But after experimenting, searching the internet and looking at the guide on the back of the stamp set, I still was not sure about how the layers worked on the various stamps.

Plan B was to use watercolor and I am thrilled with the results even if it is a first attempt!  The flowers are stamped with Simon Say Sparrow (brown) ink.  They are then colored with Tombow markers and a paint brush with clean clear water.

The sentiment from Lawn Fawn is die cut in cardstock, covered with VersaMark, dipped in gold embossing powder and heat set.  The gold splatters and dots are achieved with a VersaMark Marker and gold heat embossed.

I confess I intended to give this to a neighbor who is having surgery.  She is not a crafter.  I’m having thoughts of giving it to a stamper who will love it as much as I do.  What would you do?
