Stitching Challenge

There is so much bling on this you need sunglasses!

I continue my obsession with Statement Flowers.  I’ve now done it in so many medias . . .  now including stitching.

I stamped Statement Flowers onto 14 count perforated paper and colored it with alcohol markers.

I then used those colors to guide my stitching.

I found two strands of 6 strand DMC Floss worked best.

Next time I would use a smaller needle.   This one required a little too much tugging and weakened the perforated paper where there was lots of stitching.

The need was easy to thread so it’s a trade off.
