Black poinsettia tag

25 Days of Christmas Tags  Day 9

My friend and I have stamped together for many years.  We have had many conversations about using the color Black on Christmas cards.  (I am Yes, she is No).
On Day 9 two designers used Black backgrounds; Zsofia Molnar and Kathy Schweinfurth.
Another designer, Yana Smakula, uses dark backgrounds with colored pencils on her blog.  She did that with one of my favorite stamps, Christmas Rose by W Plus 9.  So I’ve used her idea but put it in the form of a tag.   My cardstock is actually dark grey.

The friend sentiment is from Penny Black . . .   Black!!!
