Blending Fresh Dye Inks

I have been collecting Altnew’s Fresh Dye Inks and now have enough so we can experiment with them and see how the families compare to the Crisp Dye Inks. We will also blend the colors among and between the Fresh Dye Ink families.

We will be blending different color families with Altenew Fresh Dye Inks. Detailed blending brushes will be used in a different way to add interest. The result will be a gorgeous,muliti layered, stenciled floral image for your any-occasion cards.

Supplies:

Build a Garden Blossoming Freesia stamp, dies and stencils

Fresh Dye Inks Wood Warbler Coffee Break, Forest Trails, Natures Wonder and Dried Petals (or whatever inks you have)

If you don’t have all of the Fresh Dye Inks you can substitute:

Crisp Dye Inks. Fresh Dye Inks

Tropical Forest for Forest Trails

Red Cosmos/Martian Terrane for Dried Petals

Pocket Full of Sunshine/ Fall Harvest for Wood Warbler

(Coffee Break and Nature’s Wonder are the same in both inks)

Detailed and Small Blending Brushes

Obsidian Black Ink

Clear Embossing Ink

Platinum and Gold Embossing Powder or whatever powder you wish

Stampwheel or Sticky Mat

4 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ white cardstock

A2 Card Base folded Portrait Style

Green cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″

A2 Card Base folded Landscape Style

Pink cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″

Die Cut Machine

Adhesives

Die sentiment of your choice (I used Thinking of You Die with Brushed Silver metallic cardstock and sentiment from the Blossoming Freesia set with gold glitter cardstock

Now compare the new colors to other color families and see how they might blend.
