Dahlia
Some time ago Jennifer McGuire did a product release video for Concord and 9th.
This Turnabout Dahlia stamp was in that video. I ordered it immediately but the holidays got in the way of my playing with it. So FINALLY I put some ink on that stamp and went about following Jennifer’s lead. I used colors I had on hand. (I did order the Hero Arts Satin Pearl Embossing Powder that Jennifer used and I’m so happy to have it. It is beautiful!)
The Turnabout stamp is explained well by Jennifer and also on the Concord and 9th website.
It’s easy to use and incredibly addictive. I still have a long list of different inks, embossing powders and papers I want to try with this stamp. I also have put the matching die at the top of my Wish List.
The photos do not do justice to the shine and texture that the various inks and embossing powders give to these cards. They are not sparkly. They are shiny.
After the holiday creative block, this stamp was just what I needed to get my mojo back.
