Distress Oxide Fall Leaves

Jennifer McGuire inspires me like no one else.  She stretches my skills, introduces me to new techniques I never would have tried by myself and allows me to produce cards that amaze me.
(She also costs me a lot of money.)

She recently posted a video using the Concord and 9th new fall release and Distress Oxide inks.  What could be better than leaves and a turn-about stamp?  Using the new Distress Oxide inks that just came in the mail.

I used orange, yellow and brown tones rather than the greens that Jennifer used.

I thought the background was just too pretty to put a die cut over it.  So I cut the leaf out of the background and filled it back in.

The celebrate sentiment is 4 layers.

Warning:
Listen to Jennifer!  The Distress Oxide must be completely dry with each layer.  And it is important to us the antistatic powder generously.

My first card wasn’t so pretty.
The second and third cards were just great because I took the time to do them right.
