Educators’ Instagram Reel Hop

Bokeh Bubbles
Goldfish Pond is one of my all-time favorite Altenew Stamp Sets. This Animal Instagram Hop was the perfect opportunity to create with it once again. I never tire of finding new backgrounds for this graceful fish.
This hop also gave me an opportunity to experiment with my new Artist’ Watercolor Tubes.
Evie Jacobson renewed my interest in learning about Bokeh in a Bridget Casey Free Saturday Workshop. I looked through Pinterest and watched some YouTube videos before I tried it with a combination of White Cloud Pigment Ink and Artists’ Watercolor Tubes.
My reel shows the step with the White Cloud Pigment Ink and a Tim Holtz Round Blending Tool. This is done after the base watercoloring has dried. You also get to witness the great reveal when I lift the masking paper from the goldfish image.
I plan to teach a class using this technique in the near future.

This is great card Pam, I just watched a video showing how to add the Bokeh dots over watercolors, and I immediately added this technique to my must try list. Thanks for the inspiration!
I am fascinated with Bokeh. I’m glad you share my interest. I’ll be teaching a Bokeh type technique at the Crafting Fest 24 Hour event April 20-21. Sign up is only $5.00 at bridget.caseydesigns@gmail.com
