This is the card I will be making in class. I encourage you to use what you have and create what you want from my inspiration. This can be as simple or complex as you wish. I will present techniques which you may or may not wish to apply to your card.

The supplies listed for this class include:

Fun Little Envelopes Dies

Sweet Blooms Die Set

Zero Waste Berries and Branches

Zero Waste Leaf Pattern Die

Wanderlust 3D Embossing Folder

Squiggly Lines Stencil

Wax Seal Starter Bundle

Wax Seal Stamps With Love, Double Hearts, Bow and Soft Peonies

Three colors of wax seal beads including Warm Gold, Sapphire, Ocean Mist, Fresh Green,

Coral Berry, Pearl White, Frosty Pink, Mint Choc, Platinum, Shiner Gold, Frozen Lake and Rose Gold

Sicilian Amber Cardstock

White Cloud Pigment Ink and Reinker

Envelops in Sicilian Amber, Red Cosmos or Sea Shore

Mini Blossom

Tweezers,

Perfect Picker

Not listed in supplies is Sicilian Amber Fresh Dye Ink. Any color will work for the Squiggly lines Stencil.

I didn’t use all of these items in my sample card but I listed them so you could have options.

You will need a die cutting machine, Double-sided foam tape and glue.

If you plan to make wax seals you will need a silicone mat, tea candles and lighter.

My sentiment is from Classic Greetings using clear embossing ink and white embossing powder.

I will be demonstrating how to make your own envelopes with an Envelope Score Board and without. The sample envelope above was made from Dollar Tree Wrapping Paper.

Homework:

It would be best to die cut the Zero Waste Berries and Branches (Or which ever Zero Waste product you are using) ahead of time. One time each in 3 or 4 different colors. I cut mine from white, pink, red and teal. You will use those same colors for your die cut envelopes.

I teach once a month on Bridget Casey’s Free Saturday Workshop and every second Wednesday.

I will not be teaching in March.

April 8th we will be making at least one card from the popular CYL Kit Honeycomb Haven. I will offer techniques for beginners and more experienced crafters. You can make your card at whatever level you wish.

May Second Wednesday Workshop will be fun with watercolors. If you are a little hesitant about watercolors or would just like a relaxed evening to play with other crafters, this is the class for you.

You can even learn how to make fun watercolor bubble backgrounds.

Altenew will be announcing the classes in their newsletter. When that announcement is released you have a couple weeks to take advantage of a discount for supplies used in class. Watch for the announcement. Signup is by email. grammy2bo@gmail.com
