Frosty, Feminine Pink Prayers
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Did I need another leaf stamp? Absolutely not! After I saw a post from Debbie Hughes did I want this Concord and 9th leaf stamp? Absolutely yes! It is stunning.
I have a friend beginning treatment for breast cancer. When I’m thinking about her it is therapeutic for me to make a card. I put all of my hopes for her into each step of the card-making process.
The embossing Glitter is called Midas Touch from WOW! I had not seen it until Debbie Hughes used it on a card. It truly is WOW!
The background is watercolor paper with splashes of pink watercolor. The “prayers” sentiment from Simon Says Stamp is white heat embossed to resist the water color.
Memory Box makes the beautiful delicate dies cut from SU glitter paper.
I really played with this design using different die cuts, paint colors and elements. When it finally fell together I was thrilled with the results . . . frosty and feminine.
