Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge:  Stencil It

It 3:50AM and I am watching the Royal Wedding . . . the bride is about to come out of the car.
So it’s appropriate I do a love themed card.

Kristina Werner did a video using a metallic cardstock base stenciled with metallic glitter paste.
I wanted to make a stencil from this Hero Arts Heart Cover Plate Die.  I tried making it out of cardstock.  That was too light and absorbed the glitter paste.  I tried heavier cardstock with slightly better luck.  I tried using a transparency . . . it crinkled.  I tried a plastic file folder.  It wouldn’t cut.
All in all I made 6 different attempts.  All had flaws.

A stencil would have worked better.  But I really wanted this design.  The harder it was, the more determined I got.
