Halloween Anniversary
I’ve decided my Halloween style should be called Pretty Scary. I want it to be creepy but I also want some color and glitz thus pretty but scary.
My most fun challenge every Halloween is to make a “card” for our friends who were married on Halloween. This year I saw Emma Williams’ make called “bone collector”. It set me off on a design that would work for the Halloween Anniversary. Thank you, Emma.
I painted the etc. tag with a lot of Tim Holtz Products. I started with black paint then white and speckled egg then frayed burlap. I splattered black and speckled egg. Then I used Grit Paste. The tag was pretty but not Halloween enough so I used Black Soot Stain. Then Crackle Paste and Crackle Paste again. I never did achieve the deep crackles I wanted. But the color worked.
The Feathered Friends are die cut from Yuppo paper I colored with alcohol inks.
