Heart/Hugs

Oh, Jennifer McGuire, you have taken me on so many crafting journeys.  Sometimes when I begin a project with you I hear Star Trek music in the background telling me we will go  where no woman has gone before.

That was the case with this card.

We are in September of the pandemic.  I haven’t seen my daughter or grandchildren in months and months.

It makes me sad that I could be of so much help supervising the kids’ Zoom lessons while my daughter works a stressful job from home.

I needed to make them a card.

I die cut the Concord and 9th ray heart from 22 different colors in rainbow order.

Each ray was inset.  When finished I gave them a fabulous sparkle with Wink of Stella.

I popped the heart on fun foam and adhered it to a background die cut with Hero Atrs’ heart background die.

Sentiment and hand are from Honey Bee Stamps.

I thought of them while I die cut and glued.  It was marvelous therapy.

Now I have 22 colors of scraps and white hearts all over  the floor to clean up.
