June 2022 Altenew inspiration challenge

I’m on vacation with a limited supply of stamps. Among them was Etheral Rose from the latest retreat. Perfect

I played with inks until I had the colors I wanted; the Altenew pink family (Cherry Blossom) and red (Red Cosmos). Then I watched the flowers come to life as I stamped the layers. With some of the pink flowers I white heat-embossed the third layer. What a beautiful little stack of flowers that made.

Leaves from the Ethereal Roses set were stamped in shades of Tropical Forest all over the background. Then I colored in the background with Moss alcohol markers.

That was run through the embossing machine in the Always Sunshine embossing folder so the debossed side was on the right side. This created a textured yet flatter side on which to place the stamped elements.

Clear embossing ink was swiped over the more raised portions of the debossing. Those areas were then white heat-embossed.

A stack of Fancy Enjoy white diecuts created the sentiment with an added strip from PAF Gerbera Revolution.

I enjoyed this challenge to combine colors that aren’t in my usual color pallet.
