Let it Snow

 

This was inspired by a youtube video by Vicky at Clips n Cuts.  She used this technique to “set in” the die cut words by Penny Black.  Background is distress ink.   The snow flake stamp is also by Penny Black and is heat embossed white.  Gemstones are added to their centers.  The snowman and two kids are from a stamp by Art Impressions.    (I left the third child off as I have just two grandchildren. )   They are stamped with Memento on XPress cardstock and colored with Copics.
Wink of Stella adds glitter to the tag.   Art Impressions’ package gives excellent color and shadow ideas.  The hill of snow is hand cut and popped up.
