Line Art Lotus Card

Of all the cards I’ve made over the past year, this one thrills me the most.

I have been a long-time admirer of Asian art with the black ink drawings and minimal background.  My many attempts over the years to create such art has been a total failure.

Jaycee’s Elements of Floral Composition gave me the courage to try once again.  This is a step-by-step total copy of Jaycee’s card (with my addition of a mat).   But I did it, I did it, I did it!!!

I am now going to try another with a different stamp set.
