Mini December Release

Letter Flowers and Typewriter Flowers to be released December 26th

There is just something I love about typewriter stamps. This Typewriter Flower Stamp and Die Bundle is just awesome. (https://alternew.com/products/typewriter-flower)

Maybe it’s a little nostalgia for that typewriter I got for high school graduation from my parents. That typewriter and I spent many hours together with that awful white-out stuff.

The Letter Flower Stamp and Die Bundle (https://altenew.com/products/letter-flower) makes me think of my dad. He faithfully wrote to me every week. At the bottom of the letter he’d write, “Just something for your empty mailbox.”

We spend so much time on our cards. Shouldn’t the envelope give the recipient a hint that something special might be inside? I used the large blending brush to ink the envelope flap. It looks so pretty with the Letter Flower stamp die cut to be used as a seal.

There are times when a small note is exactly what is needed. These mini stamps are just perfect for a notecard. https:/altenew.com/collections/all-altenew-products

Warning!

Remember heat embossing and alcohol markers do not play well together. The embossing can turn your pen nib to gunk. I stamped the image in Silver Stone Crisp Dye Ink then colored it with alcohol markers. The image went back into my Misti for a second stamp. This time with clear embossing ink heat-set in sliver.

I’d love to see you in a class. I teach virtually the second Wednesday of every month and once a month on Bridget Casey’s Free Saturday Workshop. My in-person classes are at Bluemoon Scrapbooking in Tucson, Arizona. Altenew announces my classes in their newsletter.
