Preeti Chandran and Laurel Beard’s class called Modern Watercoloring offers some technique twists that are new to me.

These cards are my interpretation of a technique Preeti teaches in Lesson #3. It has several steps including gold heat-embossing on acetate and die cutting the flower from the card front.

I am really obsessed with it and will continue looking through my Altenew stamp and die sets to try it a few more times.

The Handpicked Bouquet stamp and die worked well for this technique.

Of course, I had to try my current favorite, Statement Flower with this technique.
