Outer Space Birthday

I spent most of Sunday afternoon making this card.  Occasionally I’d just laugh out loud as each of these guys came to life with paper piecing and google eyes.  The list of products is extensive as I just got into puling all kinds of products off the shelves.  (Clean-up took most of the evening!)
The background came from ideas by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner.  I used water color paper, water color paints and salt!  Once it was dry I put white water color on my brush to splatter white into the sky.  The planet surface is silver paper embossed with a Cuddlebug folder then cut with a Spellbinders circle die.  The sentiment and die are from Stampin Up with silver embossing powder.
The hats are from Lawn Fawn.  And the monsters are from a Hero Arts stamp I’ve had for a long time.  Pattern paper for piecing is by Ki and Kaiser Kraft.  Google eyes, Wink of Stella and Stickles with a little white gel pen finished the card.  I entered this in the Simon Says Challenge,  Anything Goes featuring Hero Arts.
