Copper is my favorite metal. I’ve had many influences. My dad worked for a copper company. Now I live in Arizona where copper is king and my house shines with copper accents. Copper has been a lifelong love.

Altenew’s Frilly Frame Die is cut from copper cardstock as is the sentiment. The woodgrain cardstock was brushed with VersaMark then heatset with copper embossing powder. One of the layers of the leaves was also heat-embossed with copper embossing powder.

Oh, those Japanese Mums! I think they are my favorite set released in the past few months. These are colored with Copic markers. I went over the edges of each petal with a Spica clear marker. It gives an amazing amount of sparkle.
