Shabby Chic Bookmark
I NEED to do shabby chic. It may be my true style from which I get frequently distracted!
I first made this bookmark ( with a dachshund) for my niece. I loved it so much I made one for me with my precious rescue mix-breed Roxie. The inspiration came from this pattern paper from Kaiserkraft. I have hoarded that print and wanted to use the last piece for something lasting.
The dog stamp is from Prima. The darling girl on the books is a stamp from simply gorjuss stamps.
Memento ink is used to stamp and Copic markers used to color. The paper used for stamping and coloring is XPress. The base of the bookmark is two Prima tags. Pop dots, white gel pen, bling, lace and ribbon completed the project. Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is all about color. I love this color combo!
The following quote is stamped on the back of the bookmark. It is a stamp from i.o.
