Tim Holtz Winifred and Gertrude
I saw a painting of some very colorful Zebras.
That painting kept returning to my thoughts.
What are the brightest colors I can create? Alcohol inks on Yuppo.
Let the playing begin!
I die cut a lot of different layers of Tim’s Zebra named Winifred in many shades and colors before I found a combination that matched the image in my head.
Then a background that showed off the zebra’s colors was needed.
The frame is popped with foam adhesive.
Sentiment by Tim Holtz.
Balloon die from Lawn Fawn.
My friend, Jan’s, birthday is TODAY!!! She loves, really really loves giraffes.
How can Tim’s giraffe, Gertrude, be ultra colorized?
It is done the same way as Winifred except in more subtle colors.
The background is done with Tim’s stencil THS139.
She is perfect for the Slim Line card that is becoming so popular.
Now I need to make a couple more so I can write down which layer works best in what color.
