                                                  Online Card Class Heat Wave Day 3
Jule Eiersole Demonstrated a heat embossing technique called Faux Batik on Day 3 of the Heat Wave Online Card Class.  It is perfect for the new Hero Arts kit of sea creature stamps and dies.  I used three colors of green Distress ink for the background.  The turtles and sentiments (Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp) are white heat embossed.

The technique does involve getting out an iron.  (I actually ironed some clothes while it was out and heated up!)

Alert!  grandchild story:
The sentiment “Friends” made me think of my grandson.
He calls his little pre-school Friends because that is where he goes to see his friends!
