Welcome Home

And I do mean WELCOME HOME!
We watch our neighbor’s house for a couple months each summer.  It’s no problem as they live right across the street.  I love their yard and enjoy seeing the beautiful flowers.  Then this summer a mama bobcat and her kitten decided to make our neighbor’s yard their favorite place to relax.

My husband put a leash on our little dog and went across the street to check the house.  There was a  sound of moving brush and a large bobcat jumped to the top of the fence and over my husband’s head!  Thinking the coast was clear, he opened the gate and there was a second bobcat!

A few days later the two bobcats were in the back yard!  Covers had been pulled from the lawn furniture where they had been napping.

We are always happy to see our neighbors return.  But this year we are especially happy to end our house-watching duties.

This card is a combination of techniques taught by Jennifer McGuire and Erum Tasneem.  Jennifer taught the interlocking gatefold.  Erum taught the water color background.

All projects used are from Altenew.  Card is 5 1/2″ square made of water color paper.
