Never Land Trick or Treaters

I have been reading Peter and the Star Catchers to my grandchildren.
 I wanted to convert some of the dies in Tim Holtz’ Trick or Treaters set to some of the Never Land 
characters.  They will go into a vignette box inspired by Tami Basstiaans.
The pirate is pretty much as he is designed in the Trick or Treaters set.
Peter and Captain Hook have the same body base as the pirate.  
Peter
His shirt is lengthened and his classic zig zag hem is added.  
His hat is cut from the Winter Wardrobe hat.
The feather is from Regions Beyond’s feather pen.
His knife is cut from the star in Regions Beyond.
Captain Hook
The hook is cut from the smoke die in Regions Beyond.
His mustache is cut from the book pages in Regions Beyond.
The sword is from the broom in Frightful Things.
I cut the hat.  The feather is a die from Simon Says Stamp.
The backing in Tim’s stencil packaging has this neat brown, distressed print.  I use it for lots of things but I thought it made great shoes for these guys.
Now as I’m thinking about the background in the vignette box I’m wondering how to make a pirate ship . . .  or planks or barrels????
