The Carolina Allspice CAF is quite easy to layer. Altenew has clear instructions on the back of the packaging. Edges match up beautifully.

A red and white sparkle Carolina Allspice blossom will not be found in nature. However, with the Craft a Flower Dies card-makers can make it whatever color they wish! I just happened to be in a red and white mood.

This card could easily be a tag with just a hole punched at the top with lots of luscious yarns and ribbons.

The base of this card is created with the Classic Pinecones 3D Embossing Folder. Ruby Red Mixed Media ink was selected for its deep red color. Ink was applied to the debossed side of the embossing folder then run through the die cut machine. This was done twice so the color would be more intense.

Note that the base layer of the leaves is cut from vellum.

The top layer is popped up with fun foam to give more dimension to the card. Double sided foam tape is used to pop up the flowers.

The sentiment words are from Halftone Holiday

Carolina Allspice CAF

The base layer of the flower is embossed from the Classic Pinecone 3D Embossing folder. The Letter Press process is used as above dab dab dabbing ink on the inside of the embossing folder.

Look closely and you’ll see I sprayed Irridescent on the debossed side of the embossing folder.
