Pam Boedeker Easy Ink Blending Techniques

My sister-in-law is blessed with 4 precious grandsons.  Soon a sweet little granddaughter will be born.  (Prepare for a lot of love and spoiling.)  This is a great reason to make a super girly card.

Practice, practice with Altenew’s Vintage Roses has helped me figure out the alignment.  It was my first Altenew purchase and I love it still.

I didn’t have cardstock that peachy-pink color.  The ink blending lesson here was to just get out my Ranger blending tool and make paper that matched the design exactly.  Different from the blending I usually do, however, I started the blending tool at the center of the paper so the edge didn’t have dark edges.

I tried different yardstick for the “sweet” but they all got lost on the busy rose print.  The vellum dulled that print so my sentiment could stand out.

All products are by Altenew except “baby girl” which is from Simon Says Stamp and the edge die from Spellbinders.
