Boy cards are usually a little challenging for me. Not this time. My grandson loves to play chess. I found this chess stencil at Bluemoon Scrapbooking in Tucson. Along with the chess board pattern paper, this card came together quickly.
The chess stencil is from Stamperia. Chess pieces are stenciled with Versamark then heat embossed with gold and silver embossing powder.
Pattern paper is from Craft and You.
Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday is stamped on acetate with clear embossing ink then heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Pam, this card is AMAZING! My husband is a chess player! I LOVE this card! It may have been quick to put together…but it makes a big impact!
I am such a Tim Holtz fan.
