Altenew 8th Anniversary Blog Hop

Thank you, Anna Mahtani , for sending Altenew Fans my way. What a celebration! EIGHT YEARS of fabulous Altenew products, blog hops, instagram hops, videos, classes and all of the lovely people associated with the company. You have added creativity, color, learning, friendships and joy to my life. I am truly grateful and wish Altenew many many more happy anniversaries.

For Altenew’s 8th Anniversary the wreath represents some of what I love most about this amazing company. Of course I adore the floral images. But my #1 and #2 are the classes and the people who teach them. AECP classes were just the beginning. Virtual workshops have given me so many new techniques, card ideas and friends who share my passion for Altenew and card making. Even better, those friends live all over the world!

Recently I learned from a fun little exercise with Altenew that I need to pay more attention to the names of the floral images. See if you can name these Altenew flowers.

Upper left light blue comes from CYL Hello Beautiful. Annemarie Caister used this set for a recent fun folds class I signed up for.

Upper Right Peony Bouquet this technique was used in a class taught by Colleen Balija. She got the idea from Rosie Neustaedter and I will be using it in June for Bridget Casey’s Free Saturday Workshop. Also Dianne Ten Hove displayed a card I made with this flower in her Happy Birthday post on Altenew FaceBook Fan Club. This technique is really getting around!

Center Yellow CYL Dynamic Blossom. Bridget Casey featured this flower in her monthly 4th Wednesday Class All About the Latest CYL Kit.

Deep Lapis Lazuli (my favorite color). CAF Antique Rose This remarkable die cut technique was taught in a recent class by Susan Busada. Can you believe the depth of color?
